Who is eligible to apply?

Frontline workers in farming activities, meatpacking, and grocery store work between January 27, 2020, until the declared end of the COVID-19 public health emergency.

What is needed to apply?

Workers will need to provide sufficient proof of employment at a food processing facility, meatpacking facility, farm, or grocery store. Workers must also submit sufficient proof of identity when requesting funds.

Potential Proof of Employment Documentation

Workers should be prepared to provide at least one:

  • W-2 Tax Form
  • Paystub
  • Employer Letter/Contract
  • H2A Visa/ H2B Visa
  • Photographic Evidence (at worksite)
  • Written Attestation

Potential Proof of Identity Documentation

Workers should be prepared to provide at least one:

  • State issued drivers licenses or Identification
  • Consular or Government Issued Identification (Foreign or Domestic)
  • H2A Visa/ H2B Visa
  • Employer Issued Identification
  • Any other photo identification
  • Non-Photo Identification: Two forms of other documentation with individual’s name
